Big Brother Season 14 Week 1 Eviction

Tonight was the live eviction show for Season 14 of Big Brother. Before the live vote and after the eviction ceremony, the house guests needed to make it through a few days of drama. Team Britney and Team Janelle decide that they would evict Kara. After that is when things go downhill. Britney tells Willie that she thinks the coaches will eventually enter the game as players. This leads to Willie calling a house meeting for everyone but the coaches. He tells everyone that they should play for themselves and not their coaches. That they should also be prepared for the coaches to enter the game at some point.

During a Diary Room session, Frank accuses Willie of mocking Wil. Excuse me? Mocking? I think not. Frank, being the standup guy that he is, tells Joe that Willie was mocking Willie and of course, Joe runs to Wil and tells him. Joe says that Willie used a gay voice. A gay voice? Seriously? Joe is an idiot. Wil turns that into, "Willie is using gay slurs." Gay slurs? Okay, let's blow this out of proportion. Wil, Frank and Joe are way out of line. Britney tries to defend Willie, but Wil and Frank are being ignorant. It's stupid. (I now officially want Frank, Joe and Wil out of the game as soon as possible)

Britney tells Willie that the house is now banding together to go after Willie due to Joe, Frank and Wil's lies and ignorant statements. This all leads to a monster argument in the backyard between Frank and Willie. They call each other shady and Willie reminds Frank that he's been fighting to keep him in the house. What Willie doesn't know is that Joe told Frank about a previous meeting where Willie told Team Britney and Janelle to split their votes so that Frank wouldn't know who vote against him. The fight ends with Willie telling everyone to vote out Frank and Boogie calling Willie a bully.

The votes go back and forth during the week as to which house guest to keep. In the end Danielle, Shane and JoJo vote to evict Frank and Joe, Ian, Jenn, Wil and Ashley vote to evict Kara (sure, evict the best looking girl in the house).
After the vote, the HGs head out back for the HoH competition. It's a trivia comp with Frank outlasting Wil and winning HoH. After the comp, Julie announces the next twist in the game. The winner of the coaches completion will have the option of either saving one of their players or trading one of their players for another one.

I really hoped Kara would stay in the game. The HGs had a tough vote. Do they keep Frank, who will be hard to evict later or Kara, who could have been the next Jordan and coast through the game because no one would have wanted to evict her. I am disappointed and annoyed by Frank, Wil and Joe. They twisted words and lied. I know this is BB and that's to be expected, but when you start calling someone a homophobe because they imitated someone, you are the ignorant one. And when you accuse someone of using gay slurs without first hand knowledge of it, that makes you the ignorant one. I'm not a big fan of Willie's, but he got the short end of the stick on this one.
